We aim to provide help to real people, rather than donating money to huge organisations, where potential victims face lots of bureaucracy difficulties and administration restrictions. We are just a start-up, but we’ve already made life of six women better, helping them to get out of Ukraine and establish their lives in new countries.
Hello, our dearest yet unknown aroma lover! We are Aleksandra and Maria - school mates & best friends for more than 20 years, who want to make this world a little bit better. And you, just by reading this, already making this world a better place to be too.
More than 10 years ago both of us left our homeland Latvia and chose different life passes. One of us used to live in Australia and another in Ukraine. But what makes us the same is our passion to essential oils, green living, self-care and a desire to help those in need.
We went through a lot ourselves, supporting each other while being thousands of miles away from home.
As most of us, we’ve already survived the loneliness of COVID-19 lockdowns, however, we are still fighting that unimaginable emotional and physical horror of unjustified war in Ukraine that has already brought so many irreparable losses. So, we do have a lot to tell and we are ready to share with you real, workable solutions.
The desire to find a perfect aroma diffuser jewelry for ourselves appeared long time prior to COVID-19, but the shocking war in Ukraine served as a trigger to start an active work & launch Aromaries Jewellery brand.
As every essential oil addict we’ve been following aromatherapy market a lot (we’re sure so do you), looking for new ways to benefit from healing properties of essential oils. But amongst dozens of products available online and offline something was still missing. Something real and physically meaningful. Something that would speak for us, for our customers, and for all those women looking for more than just a beautiful jewelry piece.
In order to escape from reality, we started working on our brand idea, working really hard, to make our dream come true and, perhaps, help someone else’s dream.
On the 24th of February 2022, absolutely terrified Aleksandra woke up from explosions in her beloved city of Odessa not knowing what to do next. Maria - was one of the first ones to call, begging her to leave…All those scary things also made Maria return back from Australia to Latvia. She felt the urge to be close to her family & friends. But had no clue what to do with her life once back.
We’ve tested how essential oils can help balancing emotions and fighting stress ourselves, and now we offer our exclusive aroma necklace to you, so that you can surround yourself with calming and balancing oils having it always close to your heart.
An enormous amount of work was done in a pretty short period of time due to our common passion, vision, understanding & support of each other. We finally started to act and provide real support to women. We found that “something” we’ve been looking for.
At that time we didn’t know how to start business, but we’ve already imagined the style and quality & functionality requirements of our aroma jewelry.
If you ask - we’ll tell you that starting any retail business isn’t easy, and jewelry business especially, since there are millions of technical details that must be kept in mind. Imagine, you draft your ideal necklace’s design on a paper, but then you realise that it can’t be implemented in reality, because it’s simply technically impossible!
Our biggest struggle was developing minimalistic, elegant yet functional lava stone aroma element to integrate it into jewelry.
You can’t imagine how many productions we’ve examined - from small manufactures to giant factories, until we found the right one. Apart from all of that, we also need to take care of customer support, company administration, website and social networks, bookkeeping, marketing & order fulfillments.
We knew that Aromaries Jewellery brand has to take part of making the world a better place by doing at least something small for someone in need.
Our hearts were broken…Aleksandra saw the horror of people running from their homes with just one backpack… Maria was doing her best to help Ukrainian refugees, most of whom were women with children, arriving to Latvia.
